Moreover, the weighted means of point ED prevalence increased over the study period from 3.5% for the 2000-2006 period to 7.8% for the 2013-2018 period. This highlights a real challenge for public health and healthcare providers.

Halloween is a great opportunity to celebrate as a family. Candy is only a small part of the celebration. Don’t make it central, and empower your kids to follow their satiety cues. And remind them the candy will still be there tomorrow and the days after. I guarantee you what makes them eat more candy is to feel like they would be deprived of it.
